Limousine Rental: Beware of Cheap
Imitations
It may not be the usual practice for a person to
seek out the cheapest surgeon or to stay at the cheapest hotel but
it is surprising to learn that when availing of limousine rental
services one may opt for the cheapest that is available. It may be
one of the greatest mistakes that one can make by trying to skimp
on rates at a limousine rental and basing the decision on purely
the ‘best price’ available.
This could translate into a risky proposition
and the question is whether it is worth skimping and ignoring the
risks or being more particular about where to go and fine the right
limousine.
Downside of Skimping On Limousine
Rental
Very often, the cheap limousine rental companies
may not send their limousines to you on time and therefore you may
miss the event for which you had so painstakingly prepared yourself
for. Or, the limousine arrives late and it results in you missing
the flight you were supposed to take and thus miss out on that
important corporate meeting that you had planned for. The cheap
limousine rental company may also have old limousines in their
fleet and when it arrives at your door you will miss out on the
lavish luxury you were expecting and it will cause you
embarrassment instead of joy.
There is also the chance that the cheaper
limousine rental companies do not have well-trained chauffeurs who
cannot provide good customer support and this would certainly be
risky in front of your most valued and influential client and may
result in loss of an important account. Cheap limousine rentals may
also result in the limousine breaking down on the freeway and that
would be disastrous especially if you and your friends had tickets
to the Super Bowl. The same would be the case if the customer was
en route to his or her wedding and all this would happen just
because you wanted to save $50 on the rental.
So, even though most limousine rental companies
may require a three hour minimum rental it would still make sense
to find the best rather than the cheapest services available.
Besides this, one should find out the price and how many hours are
covered and what is the charge for extra hours used. In addition,
one may also need to check whether the driver’s gratuity is
included in the quoted price and if not, how much would that amount
to and are there any other charges to be paid such as taxes, tolls,
parking or fuel surcharges. Also, check about cancellation charges
and the forms of payment accepted.
